Mr. Chintan Parikh

Mr. Chintan N. Parikh, Founder and Chairman of Group Ashima, started his career as a first-generation entrepreneur in 1981, at the age of 24. He had a dream to make Ashima, a front runner in the world of cotton textiles. In nineties, his vision to bring world class technology and global customers at the doorstep of India, started a new era for cotton fabrics in India. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where later he was also a member of the Board of Governors for several years till 2016. He was also the Chairman of Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) in the year 2003.

Mr. Krishnachintan Parikh

Mr. Krishnachintan Parikh is a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering from University of Sheffield,UK and an MBA from Columbia University, USA. Prior to joining Ashima in 2012, he had a 3 years of work experience in preparing financial reports for analysis and reporting progress of projects. He has worked with the company initially as Management Analyst during 2012 to 2014. Later in 2015, he has successfully carried out responsibility as Vice President (Denim) and also as Vice-President (Business Development). He was associated with the Company as Executive Director for a period of June 2017 to December 2019. Currently he leads the Company as an Executive Director since June 2021 heading Denim division and Garment division in Textile. Further, he will be also leading the Company’s newly formed Real Estate division and Treasury division.

Mr. Nilesh Mehta – (Independent Director)

Mr. Nilesh Mehta, has over forty years of experience in investing, financial services and business strategy – of which more than twenty years are in direct private equity investing. He is a Chartered Accountant and a management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Gujarat University. He is co-founder and Managing partner of Access India Fund-1. Prior to founding Access, he was part of the founding team in India at Aureos, which managed SME private equity funds across developing economies. He has also earlier founded Infinity II, a technology fund, and also managed unlisted investments at Meghraj Financial. He is Charter Member of TiE, Mumbai. Mr. Mehta also sits on the Boards of a few public and private limited companies and is one of the founder trustees of Aavishkaar Micro Venture Fund, set up to invest in socially relevant, sustainable and scalable rural businesses.”

Mr. Malay Dalal – (Independent Director)

Mr. Malay Jayendra Dalal is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 35 years of experience. He has served as a trusted professional to a diverse range of organizations, including banks, multinational corporations, listed entities, Government corporations and real estate firms in the capacity of Auditor, Tax Consultant and in other advisory roles. He has also been actively engaged in outsourcing activities, both domestic and international, across various geographies for the past 25 years.

Mr. Neeraj Golas – (Independent Director)

Mr. Neeraj Golas, holds B.Sc. and LL.B degree and he is also Associate Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has an experience of about 32 years. Mr. Golas has very rich experience and exposure in the field of accounts and audit of several reputed Public Sector Undertakings.”

Mrs. Koushlya Melwani – (Independent Director)

Mrs. Koushlya Melwani is professionally qualified Cost and Management Accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and having about 35 years’ professional experience in the field of project finance, company law , cost accounting, designing of costing system, cost audit, stock audits and an academician in the field of cost accounting and financial accounting”
